We provide speech pathology through a consultative model rather than a traditional therapy‑driven model as this approach leads to more meaningful, sustainable outcomes for clients. Rather than positioning the speech pathologist as the sole agent of change, the consultative model builds the capacity of the people who support the client every day.

At Anecdote, always begin by completing a comprehensive assessment of a client’s communication and/or mealtime needs. This allows us to develop a thorough understanding of the client’s strengths, support needs, and current level of functioning, establishing a clear baseline from which progress can be measured. The assessment findings inform the development of an individualised implementation plan, ensuring that supports and strategies are targeted, appropriate, and responsive to the client’s needs over time.

Please note that at this time we can provide NDIS to participants whose Plans are Plan Managed.
