Anica Jansson (she/her) holds a Master of Speech Pathology from Charles Sturt University and Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics) from La Trobe University.

She has worked for over 10 years across the health, disability, out of home care, and forensic sectors in both project management and as a Speech Pathologist.

Anica enjoys working with complex cases and in transdisciplinary teams in order to improve client outcomes and quality of life.
She uses trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to her therapeutic services.

Anica has a passion for education and has affiliations with a range of universities including Swinburne University, La Trobe University, Australian Catholic University, Federation University, and the University of Sydney. She has delivered presentations, engaged in research studies, supported student placements, and developed/delivered training packages.

Jennifer Bates (they/them) graduated from The Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology.

Jennifer has a passion for supporting people to improve their quality of life.

They have lived experience with autism and enjoys meeting and working with other individuals from a shared perspective.
Jennifer has developed packages in partnership with other allied health specialists to provide easy-read guides to support Clients in building capacity and independence.

Steph Gribble (she/her) graduated from The Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. She is an approachable, friendly clinician who consistently strives to advocate for her client’s needs and find the best ways to assist them and their support network. Steph has developed a passion for working with those with neurodevelopmental disorders, complex communication profiles, feeding difficulties, and augmentative alternative communication (AAC).

She is driven to assist those with severe communication needs to support their language to the best of their abilities and increase participation and inclusion in daily activities through various communication means.

Steph believes that taking a holistic approach to therapy is crucial in achieving desired outcomes. She is striving to make a difference in her client’s lives by providing them with an opportunity to feel heard and supported in their communication concerns.

Orlaith (she/her) graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology from Federation University and a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) from the University of Melbourne. She has experience across a wide range of settings, including in remote communities in the Northern Territory, and brings a strong commitment to culturally safe and collaborative practice.

Orlaith uses strength-based and trauma-informed approaches to help people feel safe, heard and empowered in therapy. She is particularly passionate about advocating for people with language, social communication and mealtime support needs, and believes deeply in communication as a human right – essential for choice, participation and dignity.

Scott (he/him) holds a Graduate Diploma in Health Service Management, Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences as well as a Master of Business Administration.

Scott is passionate about providing the best possible support to Clients in every interaction and excelling in systems as the Practice Manager behind the scenes of Anecdote Clinical Support.
